People In Trouble began as a Brooklyn-based recording project of brothers Alex and Eli Wing, combining influences.from punk, metal, prog, no wave and improvised music. After three mini-tours (two Midwestern, one European) and several line-up changes between 2019 and 2023, the current working band is based in Chicago, and features Alex Wing (Nicole Mitchell's Black Earth Ensemble, David Boykin Expanse, Rami Gabriel, etc.), Jeff Wheeler (Graphics, Pet Peeves), Bill Harris (co-founder of Amalgam Records, Dave Rempis, etc.), and Harley Gingras (Sombra Oscura, The Dirty Dirty Dollars).
